The last day of fashion show program had arrived and we were eager to see what awaited for us.
The first part of the designer group included the name of one of the co-founders of the event, Nawie Kuiper, who showed us
a fancy menswear collection with over long shirts and suits. The fluent shapes in dancing models made this moment one of the
highlights of the night. Emer Tamer wasn’t so lucky: her collection turned out to be bewildering in all respects.
Tata Christiane
More is more, and more… this is what we thought with the arrival of the German Tata Christiane, who, after showing us
the conceptual video of her collection, interrupted the runway with her creatures. Her monstrous and excellent
oversize looks and silhouettes show us how creative chaos can be magic. Shocking in a good way!
Branko Popovic
@Squat
In the second part of the fashion show, Branko Popovic –another founder of the event– presented his proposal: a cheerful and colorful menswear collection, with prints that transported us to a relaxed and sunny afternoon somewhere near the mountains. The Slovenians young @Squat proved their enthusiasm and creativity, specially, in male looks, where they presented pieces for a young modern man. Their female proposal was more sober in colors but equally gourmet in materials and details. This designers’ collective knows how to think outside the box. Congrats!
Label2
Another surprise of the night was the womenswear collection presented by the Italians Label2. From the beginning until the end, we couldn’t stop taking photos. The collection was minimal, sophisticated and futuristically elegant. And last but not least, the Spanish Georgina Santiago presented us his own study of materials and colors. “I found that a color can say more than a word”. In this proposal the designer use industrial-made fabrics and she paints them by hand. Fashion is an experimental thing and Georgina is making fantastic things from her “laboratory”.

An extended list of artists and designers, funny and crazy friends from all over the world, and lots of cool memories: 5th FASHIONCLASH Maastrich concluded here. Now we can only wait smiling for their next edition to meet up again with the imagination, visions and dreams of new international artists.
